Answering the End's Questions

As this month winds down, it also means the class is coming to an end. I feel pretty bummed out that I am leaving the design lab and heading onto Speech next month. But I have learned a lot in the couple of months that I've been here. And it's only the beginning!

Q&A:
1. What information did you find most interesting in this class?  What Chapter did you find to be boring?
I actually liked listening and seeing what my instructor did on Photoshop. I wanted to recreate what she showed up but I'm not very skilled at this yet. I found that the chapter with all the legal jargon was pretty boring but you have to know that stuff so you don't cause trouble for yourself.

2. What did you learn that you think you'll use throughout your career?
I'll probably use a little bit of everything I've learned. Mainly the shortcuts that have helped me out a lot. For example, copy and paste, undo, holding shift to make a picture proportional. It'll help me generate my work faster so I don't spend too much time looking through a list.

3. What did you SEE this month that inspired you? (in or out of the class)
I think my biggest inspiration was when we had to do a surprise project with the other students as a group. Before that, I was feeling defeated about using Photoshop and just thought I was terrible at it and I couldn't improve. But my group partners did things in Photoshop that I didn't know we could do. I learned so much that I completely change the direction I was going for one of my projects. It helped me a lot to have more confidence in my skill and I learned new techniques for some of the more experienced students.

I have to say that I feel a little less anxious than I did before entering the class. I know I'll always be nervous and excited to do my work but I won't question my skill on it because I know that it's only started for me. I have plenty of time to become a professional.
